LITHOLOGY = The flood basalts are recognized as four provinces: theoleiitic lavas, olivene-poor basalts and acid lavas, olivine rich basalts, and silica-rich basalts and latites.
CALIBRATION = Radio isotropic age estimated at approximately 182.7 ± 0.7 Ma.
REFERENCE = Jourdan et al., 2007; Svensen et al., 2007
